Because I ordered a new Willcox Lightwave SABER VL/HeFX custom build from Chris Willcox, we can offer our studio used VL4. The instrument for sale is a (closed) chambered. Willcox Lightwave Saber VL 4 string bass. In EXCELLENT CONDITION NO STAGE WEAR AND TEAR. Treated like a raw egg.

This bass guitar has 2 enhancements. Hipshot USA Ultralight tuners (new EUR 160,-). Custom build ENELOOP power pack.

The power pack fits in place of the original but offers much more stamina , 24+ hours playtime before recharge , shelve life of years without powerdrop and over 2000 x rechargeble. I build these powerpacks on request for Lightwave users all over the world.

From a commercial perspective this is stupid, because I can sell one to each musician and the pack will last a whole carreer :0 2000x22hrs.... 7hrs a day, 5 days a week = lifespan of the pack =24 years. The VL bass is an exceptionally lightweight , only approx. 3.2 kgs and the replacement by USA Hipshot Ultralight tuners contribute to the balance in this bass guitar. The volume of each string can be adjusted individually to match your playstyle and overal output. How to do is an easy job and described in the manual that is provided with the guitar. Tool Kit (very easy to adjust to specific strings'of choice' characteristics , howtodo is in the manual). Conventional pickups produce a magnetic field that interferes with string vibration.
