Vintage 1966 Fender Jazz Bass Neck with Original Tuners 1960's Binding & Dots

This listing is for a Vintage 1966 Fender Jazz Bass Guitar Neck. This neck is in excellent all original condition and comes as pictured with the original tuners, string tree and strap button.

This neck is a transitional CBS neck from May of 1966 and has binding and dots which was only done by Fender for a short period time as CBS was taking over the company. The neck has the original finish and decal and is in excellent overall condition. The truss rod on the neck is functional and turns on both directions and the neck is straight. The frets are original and while they do show some play wear they are in very good shape with a fair amount of height and life left in them. The rosewood fretboard is also in good shape and is not chewed up or heavily worn. The binding on the sides of the neck is very good shape with only very minor wear around the nut. The nut is also original. The tuners are the "lollipop" style original Fender tuners and are in excellent shape. The string tree and strap button on the back of the headstock are included as pictured. Please check out the pictures and message with questions. This is an extremely clean & original 1966 Fender Jazz Bass neck and they do not come up for sale in this condition very often. If you over-tighten the truss rod and damage it, that's on you and we will not accept a return for damaged caused by the user during installation.
