The bass has been professionally setup to D-Standard with the string gauges. The triple stop Hipshot Bass Xtender has been calibrated to drop the D to C, at the first position and then to B, at the second position. The neck is in amazing condition (no dings) with only a few dings on the headstock. The frets have some wear on them (the bass is 20 years old after all).
Fret on the low string is a little low; however, a slight fret dressing on the bass should alleviate that. The body has some dings (pictured) but theres nothing that affects the playability of the bass. This bass is meant to be a road dog and it can take whatever the road can dish out. The included original and stock hard-shell case, from Peavey, is included.
The case (pictured) definitely has some wear and requires some finesse to close; however, it still closes completely and protects the bass perfectly well. Here are some official Specs from Peavey. 35 scale, Graphite/Carbon Fiber neck (adjustable), which was allegedly made by Modulus (hence the beautifully distinctive carbon fiber weave on the neck). Pau Ferro finger board, 8 radius. Graphlon, 1.5 nut width. Active bass (100Hz), mid (centered at 400Hz), and treble (2kHz) boost/cut 10dB; with Master volume. Upgraded Hipshot A Style black bridge with Innovative Micro-Adjust saddle design allows for an additional 1.5mm of side-to-side adjustment for even greater string spacing possibilities. The original bridge IS included.Upgraded Hipshot Ultralite tuners with a bass Xtender on the low string. The original tuners are included, too.
