New Lakland American Made 55-94 Flamed Redwood 5 string Bass. This 55-94 5 string bass is shown in a custom Flamed Redwood top over an ash body. Maple quarter-sawn neck with graphite reinforcement bars and a birdseye fingerboard. This bass has a very unique one off natural top. Lakland 5-string basses feature a B-string that is tight, well defined and certainly not noodlely like most 5 strings. This is accomplished by combining a 35 scale with the solid anchoring of the string through the body design. The necks on Laklands 55 series basses are slightly narrower than other 5-strings, making them as accessible as they are tonally sound.

The 55-94 has the high quality hipshot ultralight machines. The controls are active Cut and Boost: Bass, Midrange, Treble knobs.

Lakland custom tweed hardshell case is included. Just received this Bass and is outstanding.
