Ibanez AEB10BE-BK-14-02 Acoustic Electric Bass Guitar Black. This bass comes with bronze acoustic bass strings installed. This bass does not include a case, but we have many for sale including hard shell and soft case gig bags, both new and used. This bass is incredibly clean except for a few small dings such as those near the heel of the neck (pictured, but they look much worse in the picture than in person). Please note: The onboard tuner doesn't work, but we have included a clip-on Planet Waves NS Mini Tuner. The phase button allows you to switch between the balanced XLR and 1/4 endpin jack outputs. The Ibanez AEB10E acoustic-electric bass features mahogany back and sides and a spruce top. Mahogany produces a full, resonant tone and adds significantly to the fullness of the tone. The 22 fret mahogany neck features a rosewood fingerboard and is attached to the body with the traditional dovetail joint. Chrome die-cast tuners keep the instrument in tune with little effort, and rosewood is the wood of choice for the fingerboard and bridge. The output for the preamp uses both a balanced XLR and 1/4 endpin jack, and the preamp is powered by two AA batteries. The construction and finish of the Ibanez AEB10E acoustic-electric bass get good marks, and the attention to detail is impressive at this price.
