Basically, this Jazz V Bass is hotter/better than the Fender Deluxe Jazz Bass. This Fender bass guitar is for those "in-the-know" Fender Jazz Bass fans. What is there to upgrade from the traditional Fender Jazz V Bass five string guitar? Five in-line Schaller tuners across the top is hard to find and mega easier to play/tune.

John East U Retro Preamp original passive electronics included/pictured. Five (5) Tuners across the top.

Black body w/modded purple pick guard. Purple Pickguard (original white pickguard is included). Original Fender control panel included. Pickups upgraded to Nordstrand NJ5S which has the sound of a single coil without the hum.

Installed John East U Retro Preamp most flexible/musical sounding preamp. Bass/treble stack with a bright pull switch; mid-level/mid frequency stack; volume/blend stack. The Fender Factory hard shell case is in good condition. Where white inside molding is showing on the bottom maybe 1/2" x 3" wide. The rest of the case is in good shape check the photos.
