1997 Alembic Epic 4-String Bass Guitar - Walnut w/ Case - Hipshot Tuner. 1997 Alembic Epic 4-String Bass in very good condition with some minor playwear on the front and the back along with some minor dings on the edges. Nice natural finish on the mahogany body with a walnut top and maple laminate in between. The bass has a nice action and the "D" profile maple neck with an ebony fretboard has a great feel.

The frets are in very good condition. The pickups have a great tone and the 2-band active EQ really lets you fine tune the tone. The bass is equipped with an adjustable nut, dual trussrods, a massive brass bridge and tailpiece. The "E" tuner has been replaced with black bass extender tuner. This is a great bass with high quality materials, tone, looks and feel.

Includes a hard shell case. The Epic is the perfect balance of price plus performance. You'll find combined in the Epic the highest quality and a remarkably low price. We then attach a multi-laminated maple neck with a special "wedge" joint for matchless stability. This neck is supported by the same dual truss-rod assembly that we use on all Alembic basses.

The fingerboard on the Epic is made from ebony. We inlay aluminum for the side position markers.
